Academy Goal

To provide our students with the tools to understand and mitigate the effects of environmental degradation caused by human actions.

Academy Curriculum

• 9th Grade

Principles of Environmental Science: Introduction to Ecology, Energy Conservation, and Recycling.



• 10th Grade

Agroecology and Biotechnology: Topics on sustainable food production.



• 11th Grade

Conservation Biology: Topics on Endangered Species, Resource Management, and Natural Areas Management.

AP Environmental Science



• 12th Grade

Independent Research: Students work independently at TERRA in an area of interest in the environmental sciences, culminating the defense of a thesis.
